Guest blink
i did reason for quite a while without a keyboard, and even with it, i still use the mouse for channel automation. just zoom in real close, and use the line tool to draw it smooth and steady. its alot more work, but definitely worth it in the long run in terms of control. take a look here: http://organicparadox.com/01blink_tracks/ for some tracks made exclusively in reason. its quite possible to make professional sounding tracks, just have faith/patience! boom, blink
Guest PPP
Go to the sequencer and create a sequencer track that you set to Mixer 1. then select that track (make sure you have the midi sign next to it), click on record and move any fader on the mixer and it'll record. You can also make your panning this way or the Eq's. Usually i record the channels levels and panning automations "live" and then i also draw in the sequencer to correct possible mistakes. Guest Bodhisattva
Midi events can be shaped with line tools now in reason (finally ) So Create track in sequencer. Connect to mixer Open the automation window , select controller (icons upper left corner in the Sequencer) DRAW a line between 0 and 127 so that wil be your automation for he track , if you need it for a a-aa-aa-a-a-aa- effect i suggest using the patern sequencer withe the CURV controll voltage connected to the Volume cv of your track.... Or use logic Hope it helps ! Joeoeoeoe Bodhi
