Guest lust Posted September 26, 2002 Posted September 26, 2002 is a good software or not for produce music???? Quote
Guest BeaSingha Posted September 26, 2002 Posted September 26, 2002 It is good not the best ... but good Quote
Guest UrhgurH Posted September 27, 2002 Posted September 27, 2002 Sf6 is fast but has more bugs than the city dump. Quote
Guest Krizz Posted September 27, 2002 Posted September 27, 2002 I would recomend old SF4.5 or 5 rather than SF6. SF6 lacks of batch processing, undo disabling, direct-mode operation, and other useful things. Though it can operate with 192khz and 24 bit samples, rendering works in background, plugins can be chained just like in SFVegas, and has very smart system of undestructible editing (e.g. deleting some portion from middle of wav doesn't take any time). Anyway despite of these benefits, i still prefer my old good SF4.5. "It is good not the best ... but good" ------ So what in your opinion is better than SF? Quote
Guest lust Posted September 28, 2002 Posted September 28, 2002 but... is better than cubase?...and another question..it is professional? Quote
Guest lust Posted September 28, 2002 Posted September 28, 2002 sorry about that questions...my mistake Quote
Guest BeaSingha Posted October 13, 2002 Posted October 13, 2002 Well.. is a good software or not for produce music???? it is an Editing tool not a producing tool ... Wavlab 4.0 is better in cutting and stuff but u have more options in SF ... and i have to agree thet the best version is 4.5 of SF ... i have both 4.5 and 6.0 ... ... 6.0 have many buggs but not 4.5 .. and some of the extensions does not work in 6.0 ... so get 4.5 ... Cubase is a little better then SoundForge ... in my eye ... or is it ?? hehe Quote
