Guest coriolis
dude, you can start a thousand ways. some ways cost $80 and some cost $4000 and some cost more. you gotta be more specific! all you really need is a sequencer and some synths. this could mean just reason or fruityloops, this could mean logic and some vst instruments, this could be a hardware synth workstation, or it could mean a fully loaded studio full of vintage instruments controlled by an atari computer. my recommendations: -a pc or mac with a good soundcard (not a creative labs card), something like an m-audio, rme, or creamware card. the creamware pulsar card is one especially recommend. -logic platinum -reaktor (vst synth) -kontakt or battery (vst sampler) -all the free vst and directx plugins you can find on the internet -a pair of studio monitors (don't neglet the speakers you're using - it really does matter if you want to produce party-playable tracks) -a midi controller with knobs (like the midiman oxygen 8) or just buy fruityloops and play around coriolis
