Guest dE-fECT Posted December 4, 2002 Posted December 4, 2002 i need some since "free" mastering programs. dos anyone know where to find some? or do someone know any realy nice.? /R. Quote
Guest etherdesign Posted December 5, 2002 Posted December 5, 2002 If you have a VST host, like Cubase or Wavelab or whatever, Digitalfishphones has some really good limiters and compressors, and are soon to release a new compressor, a de-esser, and an expander/gate.. They are probably the best free mastering plugins out there and they even beat alot of non-freeware stuff.. Quote
Guest coriolis Posted December 6, 2002 Posted December 6, 2002 mda makes a multiband compressor http://www.mda-vst.com/ let us know what else you find what i'm looking for is a decent freeware program to split a signal into component bands with high quality and adjustable crossover points, such that if you add the signals back together you get the actual original signal. this is a component of a multiband compressor but just the band-splitting function before the compression and mixing.
