I'm looking to buy some equipment soon and would like some advice, If you've used them tell me pro's / con's of the following:

The Numark Axis 2 + Matrix 2 I'm getting as a kit for US$500

 

PS: I'm aware of the Pioneer CDJ-100 + DJ-M300 combination but thats too expensive for me now! (The import duty is quite high in my country)

Don't know much about DJ equiptment, but you should stay away from Behringer mixers.

 

A few of my friends mix and they use a Tascam X-9

It's alittle expensive, but if your serious about it, it's just a few pennies. ; )

I know of the more expensive options, but my budget is around $600, so suggestions of $1000 mixers are pretty useless.

I don't recomend you to buy senheiser headphones with cd players. Senheiser is exelent for studio or turntables, but not prcise enough for cd mixing.

Just my opinion,since my friend has HD25s.
