here's my advise:

before starting buying stuff, try to learn a little more about all the software and hardware on the market. The kind of music and sounds you wish to produce will also be an important factor. but don't give up and GO FOR IT.

(just a few words for th bastard: STOP BEING SO AGRESSIVE IN ALL THE STATEMENTS YOU MAKE. U really must be frustrated c'os you are always kicking ass in the forum).

Peace 4 all psy freaks.

Ok here is my advice.

If I was you I would not go out and buy a lot of equipment at once. Go easy. You need to learn a lot of technical stuff which is not at all for beginners.

Buy a synth or software synt ect before you go crazy in the music shop :-)

And sit down an experiment for a while and learn how to program it !!! You will not be able to make any music for a while if you buy a whole studio at once. It will just confuse you and it might even make you so frustrated that you give up. Believe me I have been working with studios for more than 18 years and I too had to start slowly. You have to learn to crawl before you can walk :-)

So get quality over quantity and have fun. It's a wonderful world :-)

It is important to have a powerful computer with enough ram and a fast processor and a set of good realistic balanced monitors. If you decide to mix your music outside the computer I would not go on compromise with the Mixer. The monitors and the mixer are the key elements to a good clean and professional sound.

Good luck.
