arpeggiator in logic 5.1

Hey,

 

someone know how to get the arpeggiator to work with software synths in logic?? I can get it to work by routing the physical input directly to the arpeggiator and then to the AudioInstr I want, but I cannot record this way....

 

anyone have a suggestion??

Stop using Logic 5.1 and use Cubase Sx instead.

What do you mean by i cannot record ??

You can't record audio or you can't get the arpegiator to work??

I mean I can't record midi data....the notes/chords I press won't record...

 

I have no problem getting the areggiator working or outputting sound...

all you do is go "apple eight" to get into the enviroment window then select audio on the left hand side of the window. go to new arpeggiator and just draw a line from that to the synth you want to arpeggiate. Now go back to the main arrange window and don't select the inst. select the arp. instead............. that should work!!!!

yeah make sure you select the Arpegiator track when you want to record,

and make sure the other track is not muted.
