Guest The Dark Continuum Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 Im planning on buying a computer, for music purposes mostly. But my question is, what soundcard should I buy? Not to expensive, but I need a MIDI in and out and audio ins and outs ofcourse. And a pretty nice recording quality, although it does not have to be the best. A breakoutbox would come in very handy. Thnx Btw, im planning on making all kinds of music...rock, goa, jazz, acoustic music, midi-based music kinds and even classic music... Quote

Guest m Posted January 10, 2003 Posted January 10, 2003 dude just get yourself a "Layla" by Echo. It is quite possibly the best card for $700. There is also the Digi001 package which, from what I hear, is ok but not brilliant Quote
Guest The Dark Continuum Posted January 11, 2003 Posted January 11, 2003 Thnx dudes, but actually I need something a little less expensive more like $400 or so Any suggestions? Quote
shpongled Posted January 11, 2003 Posted January 11, 2003 How about Mia by Echo $250 and Midiman's Midisport $90. Quote
