Guest laama Posted January 16, 2003 Posted January 16, 2003 So, What I'm asking is: when I'm recording My Midi-tracks into audio(cubase5), I also get those annoying-computer-loading-crackings recorded in my audio tracks..... Is it mastering what comes next or do I just have a S***TY computer(1Gh 512 mb) I'd appreciate, if anyone could say a thing.... Quote
Guest DeeperNETWERK Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 what kinda soundcard are you running? 1 gHz, 512mb is not too bad, actually. You're not allowing your soundcard to have enough buffers. Probably pushing it to a really low latency that it can not handle. Another option is it's clipping in the digital domain... Whatta nasty sound. If you have a professional soundcard, raise your buffer in your control panel. That should solve it. Quote
Guest laama Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 Well gonna try it, I have this Hoontech ADSP24 soundcard, so let's give it a try!!!! Quote
