Plz SOMEONE HELP mE!!

i'm in the middle of my song and cubase started to pops and clicks all the time!! i've already saw the VST Performance and it's on 90-98% of my cpu power!! i don't know why is happening this because my computer is a PENTIUM 4 1.6 512 mb 60gig and a Audiophlie 2496 + Soundblaster Live running WIN XP.....

i have running: 1 absynth, 1 scorpion, 1 kontakt (using 5 samples in 5 different channels), 1 PlastCZ, 1 junglist and Reverbs in each channel, a compressor in the master and some distortion on each synth....

PS: I've already tried to put the latency of my soundcard Lower and Higher and I've already tried to disable the Soundblaster

WHAT CAn I DO!!!??????

What you're running will max out a 1.6 P4. Absynth is a hog, and so is Kontact, and the number one factor is reverb on EVERY channel? I hope you're using a 'send' for that. Start mixing your tracks down to audio, only way to fix your 'popz + clickz'.

yeah man, after you are done with a vsti channel you should export it as audio and import it to an audio channel which consumes much less memory

in addition maybe the master effects can also cause trouble

I think it's better to use them only in the end when you've got everything in audio

p.s. no conflicts between audiophile and soundblaster? I can hardly imagine that combination goes without trouble in windows....
