i just got this (dont ask how) and was wondering if anyone has any tips for the beginner. in general, im wondering:

-can i use vst instruments and effects plugins

-do i need a keyboard to really use it, or can i do decent stuff with a comp only

 

and anything that you all could tell me about learning to use it

Yes you can use vst inst and effects plug-ins. The thing is that some of them come with Logic but you'll need to get some more.

And no you don't need a keyboard, you can make good music using the computer only.
