mixer advice

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for suggestions what mixer (brand and model) to buy.

Here's what I need:

-4 Channels output (it can support 2 CD players and 2 turntables)

-3 band EQ (high, mid, low) per each channel

-I need to be able to hear both tracks before mixing in my earphones while only one is being played in speakers. That way I can check in my phones if it sounds OK before I actually let the audience hear the mix. I don't know what this function is called.

Of course I'm looking for something that offers the best value for the price and is not extremely expensive.

Thanks for your help

Pioneer DJM-500, DJM-600 or DJM-3000 should all do what you want. Check the local prices in your area and if it's too much for you, maybe consider a Gemini or a Numark.
