Guest Faxanadu
Hi..... I bought cubase 5.1r a few months back and haven't used it much. I've since bought some equipment and hooked everthing up but for some reason Cubase crashes every time just after startup. I suspect this has to do with my Oxygen 8 (Cubase doesn't crash if the O8 is off). I even tried installing a ripped version of Cubase 5.1 and a ripped SX but they all gave the same conflict with the Oxygen 8. I know many people use Cubase and O8 together with no problems. I have gotten to a point in my production where I must have the features Cubase gives me, and am even considering legally upgrading to SX, if I can just get my system to work smoothly. Ant help would be huge. thanks, Faxanadu
Guest DeeperNETWERK
First of all, if you use a midi interface... Plug the O8 into that, instead of directly into a USB port. This will lower your CPU usage, and just work overall better. If you don't use a midi interface, go buy one! Second of all, get the new drivers... There was major problems with the first few sets of O8 drivers for XP. It runs smooth over here.
