Guest danne
Hello! I have just bought a Nord lead2 and I am wondering if it's possible to hoock it up to my soundcards digital inputs(optical or coaxial), it sounds like a stupid question, but the reason I ask is because nordlead dosn't have any digital outputs. can I plug it in to my mixers coaxial inputs/outputs that aren't digital, and then to my soundcard, and still get a digital signal?? I hope this question is'nt to confusing to understand! regards! Daniel....
Guest Reflekshun
Hi there! Congrats on the NL2 you'll love it Nord Lead doesn't have digital outputs so you can't directly connect it digitally to your soundcard If you plug it into an analogue mixer, I see no point it connecting it digitally to your soundcard, except if you wanted to record it simultaneously with something else (in separate channels) However if you still wanted to, if your mixer has digital output sockets, then I'm sure you can.. otherwise, let the soundcard do the analogue/digital conversion.. with the nordlead2 it's going to have to start off analogue and convert to digital if your recording into your computer.. and the easiest way is to keep it analogue, and the soundcard will convert it to digital (eg. wav file on the computer) Good luck! _|reflekshun.musicpage.com--<<|
