That's some nice shit Psyn!

I really like this one...

Can you give me some tips about how you made this perhaps?

I'm quite new in goa-music, and dont have any experience, so some guidelines might be useful.

ummm guidelines... ahh i'm not sure if i can help you out there! Umm i make it as it comes i suppose.....

Maybe... if your starting a track, and just not sure what to do with it make your kick and your bass, eq them and compress then start on making your percussion.... get a good VST like waldorf attack, it's a really cool percussion synth.

Umm the general bassline in psy would be the 4 bass notes to a kick. Drop the velocty of your first bass note, t make sure it doesn't interfere too much with your kick seeing as these two sounds occupy much of the same frequncies. If your first note is a 64th long make the second note double that and the third triple then the fourth the same, then the second set of bass notes inversre the second and the fourth note lengths... duplicate this again so your basic bass loop is a bar long, then start changing things, move a few notes up to the third , or maybe down......

Umm on the eq side of things, for the kick pump 0 - 350hz up and drop it at 300-450hz then just drop basically all the rest of the frequencies.... With the bass, drop 0- 100hz (making more room for the kick) boost 100 - 200 hz and drop say 500hz. Once again drop most of the other frequencies..... This is pretty much a rough guide but just keep playing it over and over messing with the eq till you think it sounds right!

EQ basically all your other sounds so your dropping 0 - 500 so that the bass and kick dont get drowned out... also try dropping 17KZ (17000hz) - 20Kz with a gentle curve... this will also help stop things from getting too muddy... reserve these frequencies for the higher end of your percussion.....

Well i suppose thats a sort of guideline for eq, which is perhaps the most technical shit as far as making tunes goes... well kinda! anyway i hope i helped out a bit =]

I think he is referring to this basic pattern:

K---K---K----K---K---K

SBBBSBBBSBBBSBBB

S = bass lower velocity

B = bass note

K = Kick

correct me if i'm wrong :)
