oh, thats not hard....why didnt i come to think of that : )

what i am having prob with is finding the right tempo. if it the tempo in the tracks differ and i adjust one track lets say +0.7 i cant hear if it has to be faster or slower...i just hear that they dont match!

oh well, i gues there is just one answer...practice practice practice....

The easiest way to grasp the beatmatching concept, I assume would be to do the following:

If you can find two tracks that are exactly the same tempo - which is not uncommon - play the first, and bring in the second track at slightly offbeat times. Gradually increase the offbeat-ness of the second track cueing. This way, you'll get a grasp on the intesity and direction of necessary pitch bending. Keep doing things this way until it feels at least semi-natural.

Once that's done, you've got the general feel of when a song needs to be sped up/down. Start working with different tracks, and you'll notice that if you're spending too much time bending in one direction, the pitch slider should go in the other.

Hope that's confusing enough.. heh..

Some hint that might be useful, when you try to beatmatch, after a few seconds you hear that the beats aren't match and it gives this horrible double kick, just try to turn the jog wheel in one direction (slow down or speed up) and hear if it becomes more horrible or less horrible (if the kicks split more or less). If you had slowed down and it appears to sound better (kicks closer), it means that the track you are cueing was too fast...

I am not sur it is very clear...
