Guest siwis Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 Hi sound people out there...... I have a short question which may have a long answer: How do the guys from atomic pulse, astrix,.... their hi- hat, shaker, snare, other rythmes with "hi- sounds"? the thing is that i want to mix progressive basselines with fast "hi- sounds" tnx! Guest BrainStorm Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 its easy.. just make the hihats speed quarter (4 times) or more times faster then the whole track tempo and see what you get peace from israhell check my GOA: http://www.kemos.com/yiannis/BSlinks/BrainStorm.m3u Quote
Guest ThiagoNaka Posted March 31, 2003 Posted March 31, 2003 Just play with velocity and delay. Btw, "all" israelians use loops. They actually don´t make the loop in all tracks. They have a big loop bank. Quote
Guest Andreas of Amygdala Posted April 1, 2003 Posted April 1, 2003 That's an awfully bold generalization, isn't it... How can you be sure?!? And where do those loops come from, if noone makes them...? - Just wondering .oO Andreas OO. Quote
Guest themessenger Posted April 8, 2003 Posted April 8, 2003 well in my opinion its easyer to track a 16-32-64 step sequence than searching for sor hihat loops to fit with tempo and its pretty more easy to make some alteration to your hihat when its a single sample hehe dont know where ur info is from but it sound dumb ! Guest BrainStorm Posted April 9, 2003 Posted April 9, 2003 Thiago: i am an isralien and i dont use loops so please, dont generilize so much... but i do agree - MOST of isratrance is made of loops and by my personal opinion it SUX BIG TIME! tired to hear shitty repeating things Quote
