Guest psyhelmet
My opinion about space demontia: A very visual track meaning I at one point I can visualise myself being weightless in a big box with balls firing from wall to the next in the bouncing rythm. Very nice track. I like the changing from melancoly happy mood to darker a lot. Though may I suggest you keep the pitching up and down through the whole track, that would be a really nice detail. Keep it going
Guest psyhelmet
Ok your hihat in aylium sounds cheap somehow. Actually to be honest a lot of the sounds in my opinion sounds a bit cheap, I can't really explain how just that they do. But when the beat stops the first time it creates a cool effect. Well don't take my judgement too seriously though since it is my first, well now second time I make a detailed opinion about a track. My favorite artists are Shiva Chandra, Cosmosis, Hara Gobi, Reefer Decree, Juno Reactor and those types so its very possible we like two different styles. About he wall between... : Whoooa killer track. It has a hell of a lot sounds going on at the same time which makes a killer effect. Really raw hard pounding full on stuff. Didn't know there were so much going on on the wall between councionsness and uncouncionsness (or however its spelled anyways). First time I heard it I was so busy reading that I didn't notice it, but then I noticed my mood changing to the better and I heard the sound and though Whoooa - well actually it was more like woow but it means the same. I'm definitely gonna have this on my next hand picked compilation. My personal overall opinion you need a little work on your downtempo style (have you tried listening to Shpongle) but your full on is wow! Guest dark pulse
what do you mean by : "Though may I suggest you keep the pitching up and down through the whole track, that would be a really nice detail." What is the "pitching up and down"?? (I'm french, so my english is pretty awful!) anyways, thanks for your advice, that is what I call a constructive advide! as for the hithat sound, it's normal it's cheap, when I made this track 9 month ago, I made it 99% with my MC-303 groovebox, and well... this machine sounds really bad... (the last 1% were some delay effects with acid 3.0, thats all my pc could handle at that time...) But I upgraded my gear since, although I like the arpegiator and the basic phrase sequencer pretty much in the MC-303. And this downtempo track as I just sayed, was written 9 month ago... I've quite improved since then, maybe I should try a new one... shpongle... when I'll reach that level.... I think I'd be quite happy... well it's not for today, maybe in 200 or 300 years see ya! dark pulse
Guest psyhelmet
Pitching is a term used by singers. It is used to describe the change from one note to another, for example from a bass note to a high note. And please let us hear your new work sometime!! -psyhelmet
