novation k-station

does anybody know if the novation k station synth is good for psytrance??

i want to buy my first hardware synth, and this seems like a good deal.

any advice on this?

Well, Not to rain on your parade.. But I wouldn't buy a K-Station, a VSTi clone is coming out in the next 2 weeks called the V-Station... It should sound EXACTLY like it, and that would suck to pay 700-800 bucks, to own that, and have a VSTi clone that costs 150. Gettin a nord lead II.

the k-station is very nice at squelchy analog bassline/lead sounds... like 303s and similar sounding noises. i actually really like it. but without a multimode filter, its a bit harder to get it to make a wide variety of noises, so i'm glad it is not my primary synth.
