Guest Kloar Posted May 29, 2003 Posted May 29, 2003 Im About To Buy Some Active Monitors What should I buy? Is it anything special i should look up before i buy them? Thinking about the Edirol ds-20 or 50? Quote
Guest DeeperNET Posted May 30, 2003 Posted May 30, 2003 Best suggestion I can give you when it comes to monitors is ... Go to your local music shop, bring your favorite cd, and listen to it through as many monitors as they will let you. It's all about how your ears respond to those monitors. It's different for everyone. I personally use Event PS8's. They have the nice satin around the tweeter, so it doesn't tire you ears out, nice for long sessions. But again... It's just my preference. One thing though... I'd stay away from Edirol (aka roland) stuff... They should just go back to making real anologue synths. Quote
Guest bonglophone Posted May 31, 2003 Posted May 31, 2003 Thanx for the advice DeeperNET i will follow your tips and stay away from Edirol Quote
