Guest Pyite
I just started producing psy using Reason 2.5. Does anybody know any sites with info on what all the filters do, how to use different effects, etc. Any help would be really appreciated! ~Pyite

Guest Marc
Filters will filter the harmonics and effects will give the sound something special, etc.
Guest Jeroen
I don't really understand..I've used reason 2.0 for somewhere between half a year and a year now..i think marc's reply was a good one, effects just change sounds in some way. you have to experiment with that, so that you can understand what tuning which buttons can do! no-one has, nor can, write a manual about that, right? that's like attempting to describe a strange twisted effect to someone who's never heard it; you can give it words, but the person in question won't have a clue to how it sounds. Conclusion: get out there and experiment! Don't get me wrong, though, it isn't that easy and it might take you quite some time to figure it out.
