Guest cielspacing
"Your brains" is quite on the spot answer. Though focuses mostly on the biological part only. If you acknowledge that Goa or Psy music usually has a surprise/unseen element to it, that is more the spacially and triptically way of recording the sounds rather than the type of sounds recorded...The speed or the dance element can be very varied fore you to choose. Hence it is more your PERCEPTION than the machines you employ. You may -even- use purely acustical intruments passed thru a effects and processors and 3D ...and that's it. Guest psycheperience
witch programm do you use to make psy trance or goa ?
Guest emptyspace
There are many, many programs you can use to make music (goa or otherwise). The pro-sounding ones definitely require at least a small degree of knowledge about the way a studio works. A good program for making instrumental music (such as Goa) would be Reason.... A less costly program that is a bit simpler (altho not as good sounding) would be Fruityloops. Those are recommended for instrumental stuff by me. Also check out www.tweakheadz.com for some info that will help you.
