Guest PsyTrix
Hi! I'm about to buy a nord lead 2 (as soon as I get hold of one) I've been offered to buy a micro modular for about $200 so I'm thinking of buying both. So my question is: is the micro modular capable of creating sounds that the nl 2 isn't. /PsyTrix
Guest alejandro
depends on your synthesis knowledege, the micro modular works on synthesis process, so you can create a sound of your own depending again on your knowledge you can create the synthesizer of your dreams., go for both, you will be able to spend lots of hours experimenting and creating great sounds with both
Guest gong
Yes, MicroMoudular IS a NL 2 only that NL 2 have more voises. Basicly. The big difference lies in that MM has a modular synthesis, so you have to construct your own patches from scratch using patch wires to connect the collection of modules. Theres a NL 2 clone for MM that emulates the NL 2. not as good as a real NL2 ofcourse, but anyway, the MM is well worth its price, its a bargain at $200, so, go for it!
