Guest za/da Posted October 25, 2003 Posted October 25, 2003 hallo,i was just wondering which is the best way to use a vst compressor/should it be like a master effect in the track(i guess so) or used separate on every channel or a bit of both?which are the best settings so that my track can be audible enough? is the fruity compressor any good or am i just wasting my time using it?i also use bbe and L1 ,thnx Quote
Guest jack Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 a comp. is used both on individual instuments/channels and at the end of producing the song, the mastering part. here you use a multiband-comp on left and right channels. the use of a compressor is very individual, depending on the song / instruments and there is no magic setting you can use for everything...all you can do is listen and tweak, listen and tweak...good luck ps. regarding the fruityloops comp i have no idea if it good or not Quote
