Guest Jikkenteki Posted January 17, 2004 Posted January 17, 2004 As I understand it, ASIO was designed by Steinberg and it basically makes the audio by pass the OS, thus improving performance. DX is from what I understand similar, but is designed by Microsoft and I believe it was Cakewalk.... As with all things Microsoft I find that it works, but there are other alternatives that work better.... Quote
