Guest Syonix
Fruity loops manuals can be otained on IRC. just download mIRC and once it's installed goto xDDCspy.com and type in "fruity loops" or "FLstudio" .. Fruity is basiclly a "Wav" file sequencer in the most basic sense. it has support for commong VST and DXi plugins, if you don't know what these are then don't worry about it.. Guest katapult
A midi file is not a sound file, it is a file that transmits data to an "instrument". An instrument could be a software synthesizer or hardware synthesizer, a sampler, fx processsing or a slew of other things. If you load a midi file in fruity, you need to have any necessary instruments set up correctly so that the midi file can transmit the data to those instruments to play the notes, sounds and/or what ever other necessary data is being transmitted. I see what Syonix is saying, but Fruity is much more than a sequencer for wav files. That description makes Fruity sound more like Sonic Foundry's Acid. Fruity comes standard with its own synthesizers, can control outboard gear via midi, record and process fx just to name a few things. In order to understand what is capable in fruity, you just need to play around with it more, read the manuals, and pick up some books on things like general midi, music theory and eqing and mastering. Guest arie
thanx katapult... u really dealt with Frooty. I hope to get articles or books on general midi, music theory and eqing and mastering; as U said, guess it will help me. I've got a lot of musical potentials in that needs to come out; in any case u see this more information and helps on how I can grow and develop vocally, instrumental and all music wise! lots of tanx!
