Guest MMaker
Im making some musics on FLStudio, but I can´t make good songs. They seems to lack something. Does Fruity Loops sux or it´s me ? Lol ??!! I´m trying to get Reason + Cubase + Rewire now. If someone know good Psy in FL pleas send me some URL where I can download the FL files to learn something. Guest bandarlog
You can make psy in FL, if you have enough patience... Try to learn about effects, vst's and stuff... read a lot about it. I make psy in FL but in such an atypical way (I render everything that I make with vst's and on hardware) that the flp file won't help you much. Besides, I don't think a lot of producers will give away their flp-files, it's just not done... You have to figure it out yourself. I'll give you some tips on efx: use: - a lot of efx - stereo enhancement - compressors - parametric equalizers - a lot of filters - detuners - good (!) reverbs It's ot unusual that you put 40-80 hours of work into a track before it sounds as it should. If you're not an advanced player, you can't just say: Let's make a song today. Practise, practise, practise... cheers

Guest TH
It's not FL that sucks, I'm sorry to say. Just keep at it. I've got some simple psy kinda flp files I could let you look at. Some of them will be later developed, some are just playing.

Guest MMaker
I´m getting better. The important is to use a lot of FX! Well I really want to look at some flp files, if u could send me or give me the link to some homepage. And for Christian , you can download the DEMO version of FL in their home page. Guest anal0g_brain
FL doesnt suck it just needs a lot of patience and practice in order 2 make a decent track.once you get used to it you ll be making psy/techno music really easy.i use fl since 98 (fl studio currently) and i can say that my tracks are audible enough now.you just have to find a certain pattern in the way you create a track.for instance i have built a database of bass/kick/synth/whatever loops , automations ,fx/synth presets so i dont start from scratch for each new track. tip: learn how to use the keyboard shortcuts it ll save you from a lot of wasted time good luck
Guest Nik daBee
What the Hell - Not FL sux but you, man!! You need Time if you wanna do good sounds, man!! FRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTY LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPS 4EVR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest Syn The Sizer
Fruity loops is awesomE!... fl doesn't suck at all... i think it's better than reason for psytrance , it's way more simpler... but , it isnt simple as you think it is.. you neeed much time to get into this stuff.. before making , you must listen to good psy music to get hooked up!!! some hints : - use VST - DO NOT OVERCROSS 150 bpm if u want deeptrance!
