Guest miKeLogic Posted March 17, 2004 Posted March 17, 2004 Hi Skynet, I got Omnitronic CDT300's. Gigged them umm, twice, and one broke down. (would not read discs and/or eject discs!). Sent back and got credit for Pioneer CDJ100S. No comparison. I'd totally have faith in the Pioneer stuff, had a hi-fi that lasted 9 years without a single problem, despite being shipped from country to country. In the end I gave it away. Yeah OK, the Pioneer is twice the price as the budget decks, but if you're left for 4 months waiting on the shop to repair one of your decks, you're gonna wish you'd spent the extra. Whatever you choose, enjoy! Regards, miKe Quote
Guest akindo Posted March 19, 2004 Posted March 19, 2004 Word up, you NEED the Pioneer CDJ-100s. I now have two, and I would bet they are the most reliable DJ CD players ever made. Simple, strong, beautiful, technical. And they are the standard at parties, so if you practice on them at home, you are ready at the club/forest party. akindo Quote
Guest Stasinap Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 I've got two Pioneer CDJ-800. They are more expensive then CDJ-100s but much more usefull and neverless reliable. Big jogs fully emulate vinil turntables, loop function, immediate start from cue point stored in memory and several other features make the process very easy and save plenty of time. If you ever tried vinil playing, you'll love them. Anyway Pioneer is the best CDJ maker on Earth. My turkish friend tried new AmericanDj players and he said that they 're very far from Pioneer. Quote
