Guest HILLTOP82(When the shit h
Absynth problem... Runing absynth on my mac.. Works well on its own... Allthough once I try to run it in the framework of Cubase it can not find the Instruments, neither can you load them and you cant even open the Absynth effect windows etc... ANYONE have a Clue??? I thought it be a memmory problem but I think Ive run it in the past

Guest ben
what kind of computer do u have? maybe it is the lack of memory or cpu....
Guest HILLTOP82(When the shit h
Yeah... I have a Imac 500 processor and 128 meg internal memmory I think I will have to uppgrade the memmory... I took down the Cubase memmory bellow recommended and then the absynth works better.... Maybe I will try it on Logic maybe that is less of a Memmory eater of a program... Guest ben
should be the same pb with logic i think.... try buying more memory or a better processor...
Guest ben
i know on pc u need at least 512 meg of memory to run logic and heavy plug-ins like absynth so that might be the pb i think...
Guest HILLTOP82(When the shit h
That sucks though... I was playing around with my reason songs ever till I joined this forum.. and started using "Heavy" pluggs, loads of compressors etc. And all of a sudden my trustworthy MAC machine feels like Old Rubish Im afraid... course it only have 128 meg of memmory and I dont know If I should be getting anymore course Reason started notefying me on my new trance song that my computer is to slow to play it... I dont know if you can switch the processor in a Imac and if its worth it... Maybe I´ll save up some cash and buy one of thoes fancy new Ibook laptops instead huh? Or just go back to making more simple songs really... Robb Hubbard Made some Wicked songs on the Commodore 64 and all he had was 64 kilobytes of memmory and thre soppy channels... If u wanne check out the SID-player (C-64 music) go to: http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Lak...y/download.html Peace
Guest ben
the bottom line is this: if u are serious about making music u will need a better computer... i know it sucks, but i have been there before and trust me u don't want to have to worry about memory and crashes to much, cause it really interfers with the creation process...
